We’re blaming footwear label, Kurt Geiger and their super sexy ’60s inspired A/W’11 campaign, starring Polish supermodel, Anja Rubik, for this. In particular, the image above. We pretty much want to be Ms Rubik in this shot – at the very least, we’d settle for the clothes off her back, and especially those sen-fucking-sational dalmatian-print boots. Gimme.
Animal print ankle boots are where it’s at for A/W’11. And ironically (or not), pony skin is the upper fabric de rigeur. These three pairs are riding high on our most wanted list. Get a trot on and purchase them with immediate effect… else you’ll have a long face when they sell out – annnnnnnnd end of horsey jokes.
Dalmatian print is spot on next season…
Yup. these are the Kurt Geiger booties adorning Anja’s footsies, above (we haven’t stolen them yet, but we will). Yours for 101 pounds (plus £94, atch) – see what we did there? We made a topical reference.
Dalmation print boots, £195, Kurt Geiger
Leopard print is grrrrrrrrrrrrreat*
We’re lifelong leopard print fans here at LB – when I say ‘we’, I’m in particular referring to Amy, Katy et moi. We love a bit of the leopardyness. And what?
Enjoy the Cuban-esque heel on these bee-yaw-tiful booties – we could totes see Alison Mosshart or Noel Fielding in a pair.
Petty leopard low heel boots, £175, Sam Edelman
Hey! You never see those two in the same place, do you? Maybe they’re the same person?! Oh wait, we just Googled it. Here they are. Together. On a night out… Awkward…
Zebra-crossing-the-road-cool
Trust Toppers to come up trumps with an on-the-money pair of boots for an ‘I-don’t-have-any-money’ price. And leather, too! Marvellous.
Zebra print boots, £36, Topshop
We’re holding out for a pair of giraffe print kicks, personally…
* Yup. That sub header was lame. Alternative suggestions welcome in the comments below.
