She’s the reason we all have unrealistic expectations about hair. That Barbie has a lot to answer for with her teeny tiny waist, constant tip-toes, all over tan and wardrobe that rivals ours. We’ll forgive her as her life isn’t all smooth – check out her boyfriend’s crotch, that’s another level smooth.
It would be a bit weird and man repelling if we still played with Barbies but we can feed our nostalgia with UNIQLO’s new Barbie T-shirts; a steal at £12.99 with a super cute vintage vibe.
Oh, and if you find yourself in UNIQLO’S Oxford Street store today (Saturday June 18th) you can have your picture taken with a real life Ken doll in a Barbie box. They’ll even give you a souvenir print to take away with you. Cue many a ‘ X changed her profile picture’ type updates in my Facebook feed tonight.
