Red or Dead 30th Anniversary exhibition

Three fat decades ago, the cult label Red or Dead was born when designer Wayne Hemingway and his wife Gerardine started selling their clobber  in Camden market to make a buck. Before they knew it, they had sixteen stalls which soon turned into shops, in Camden and Manchester.

When the Hemingways tried their hand at being shoes, a British fashion institution was born – think watch shoes worn by Bros in the late 80s through to epic platforms in the 90s.
