The British Biscuit Festival

Ahhh, I remember the time when it all kicked off in my biscuit tin. It started when a Bandit called Rocky (who was pretty crackers) hit a Penguin over the head with a Club, tied him to a Wagon Wheel with a Blue Ribbon, kidnapped a cookie then made a Breakaway in a Taxi. the police said Rocky was last seen After Eight in Maryland, drinking Bourbon and Hobnobbing with a Ginger Nut. Unfortunately, they didn’t find a crumb of evidence so the Jammy Dodger got away!*

Biscuits should be accompanied with tea

Mmmm, biscuits, eh? If you’re a birrova cookie monster, then raise your cup of tea in the air and rejoice in celebration of the humble biccy.

Next month The Brunswick will be sending biscuit enthusiasts on a total sugar high with biscuit-building workshops, teabag art (oo-er), cookie competitions, tea dances (natch) and MORE. Highlights include:

Build–a–Biscuit Workshops
The epically named  Cake Conjurer will show you how to make the perfect pimped-up biscuit. Money raised here will go towards the work of The Foundling Museum.

Towering colourful biscuits

The Terrific Biscuit Tin Tournament
If you can eat a biscuit without licking away the crumbs, dunk your Digestive in tea without it going soggy or say a sonnet with a mouth full of Custard Creams then step up, my friend!

Space Invader biscuits

Tea and Biscuit Social
Vintage and interior enthusiasts (and cool twin sisters) The Bijoux Editrix will work their magic to create a decadent haven adorned with vintage lamps, photos of Queen Liz and frilly pillows AKA the perfect place to take that 3pm tea break (complete with trolly dollies, we hear).
