The hottest thing to come out of St. Albans since S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole (BABE), Friendly Fires are releasing their second album, Pala, today which of course is reason to hyperventilate with excitement and scream like a big girl because WHO THE FUCK DOESN’T LOVE FRIENDLY FIRES?!*
I can’t be the only one to find Ed Macfarlane’s two-parts camp and four-parts disturbing convulsions dance moves the sexiest thing to ever grace a stage, can I? Even if you’re not a fan of his pioneering shape throwing, then there’s still those spirit-lifting. hip-shaking tropical dance tunes to consider. And that’s some eargasmic gawjusness you can’t argue with, judge.
Treat your ears and have a listen to the album stream here and then, inevitably, download it/buy it in a store (ROFL! Imagine that!), tell your friends, play it at every barbeque, house party and general event which allows you to plug in your iPod, before everyone stops inviting you out, starts screening yours calls and deletes you from their Facebook.
