Awww. Was that header a bit mean? We actually loved Kate’s LV look last season – all vampy dominatrix and those boots! All the while nonchalantly puffing on a ciggy – on No Smoking Day, nonetheless. Yes, we ruddy LOVED IT.
So in stark contrast to the festishly good A/W’11 fashion, Kate Moss closed the fairground themed Louis Vuitton S/S’12 show in Paris, in a white broderie anglais dress with ostrich feather detail, topping off a sugary sweet collection set on a HUGE mirrored carousel with 48 galloping white horses.
The collection was all candy colours, feathers and lace with a decidedly retro feel: part nipped in ’50s waists, part ’60s lady like skirt suits.
Oh crap. Forget that last picture. Not sure how that got there…
Kate gave LV designer Marc Jacobs a smacker on the cheek straight after the show. No doubt to congratulate him for one of his finest to date. And perhaps to wish him luck at Dior? < unconfirmed rumour alert
Our thoughts in full to follow, but in the mean time, watch the Louis Vuitton S/S’12 show in it’s entirety here. It’s gaw-juss.
