So this week RI (ver Island) announced that RIRI (hanna) will be designing a SS13 collection exclusively for them.
Well hold the phone, shit the bed and shut the front door. I for one am ecstatic about this, Lord knows Romford has long being crying out for gyrating 18 year olds in African prints hot pants and Tutankhamen sunglasses… I jest, I am genuinely excited; River Island seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment and this feels like a genuinely exciting project. WATCH. THIS. SPACE.
Also in the same week, Lana Del Rey has been announced as the new face of H&M’s AW12 collection.
OK, OK, so she’s not HACTUALLY designing anything but she’s the ‘face’ of it and WHAT A GREAT (if slightly plumped) FACE IT IS.
