Sooki is Founding Editor of the online fashion blog ironyisacupcake.com. It only launched last month and is already getting seventy zillion hits a week (from all of Sooki’s friends, mostly – that and the fact she totally made that stat up).
She likes to think of herself as a mini celebrity in Dunstable, where she’s from. She’s used to all the attention her outfits get but doesn’t see what the big deal is. Why wouldn’t you wear silver trousers and a cone bra on the bus into town? Every day is a photo opportunity, right? And fashion is a show, after all.
One day Sooki hopes to live in London and pursue her dream of becoming a model/actress/TV presenter/DJ/designer/writer/singer/UN ambassador as she adores attending London Fashion Week.
She gets to go to soooo many shows by contacting the designers and telling them she’s a global fashion journo but doesn’t understand why she has to loiter at the back.
She provides full catwalk coverage, transmitting blurry catwalk Twit-Pics to the world as the action happens, with insightful opinions like, ‘ZOMG! Bright colours! Amazing!’ or ‘spotted Alexa Chung!!!!’
Not getting her picture taken upon arrival at Somerset House would upset Sooki. A LOT. She’s so used to posing for the camera, she’s adopted her own signature pose: inverted hands on hips with a slightly boss-eyed gormless look. She’s so fucking cool it hurts.
She doesn’t realise she just looks a lot like ET.
