Miles Scott, a 5-year-old leukemia sufferer, fulfilled his wish of being Batman when San Francisco transformed into Gotham City for a day.
Little Scott AKA Batkid’s day of crime-busting antics made him the hero of Gotham City and has melted cold, hard hearts around the world – even ours.
Here are Batkid’s best moments…
Rescuing a damsel in distress
Batkid began his day by rescuing a damsel in distress (with the aid of a trampoline) from cable car tracks.
Getting into the Batmobile
Someone donated a Lamborghini for the day to become the Batmobile. Batkid drove around complete with police escorts .
President Obama’s Vine
It was the president’s first ever Vine on Twitter.
Saving Lou Seal from Penguin
The climax of Batkid’s day was saving San Francisco Giant’s mascot Lou Seal, who had been locked-up up in a cage at AT&T Park by evil Penguin.
Key to the city
At the end of a busy day, San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee presented Batkid with a key to the city, with a ceremony at City Hall.
WE’RE CRYING AT THE CUTENESS.
