Och aye the noo! // Check out Burns Night in tartan

It’s Burns Night on the 25th January, sae let the Lord be thankit.

This is the night where we celebrate the Birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns whose most well known poem Auld Lang Syne we sing, or rather try to sing, on NYE.

The true way to celebrate Burns Night is to have a Burns supper where haggis, Scotch broth and whisky is served along with toasts, speeches and a recital of the poem ‘Address to a Haggis’.

Seeing as we are in full on Dryuary, everyone is either broke or detoxing and let’s face it, we just about manage a microwave meal and an episode of something non committal before calling it a night.

Looks like we’ll be paying homage to Burns Night the way we do best, via our outfits. Here’s how you can tartan up in outfits that are sure to bring you Ae Fond Kiss…
