It’s that time of year where we’re all SERIOUSLY BROKE (it’s not just me, surely) and payday seems to be taking two steps foward, followed by TWO FUCKING MASSIVE STEPS BACK (we come together cos opposites attract, etc).
You want to spruce up your look for ‘spring’. I say this with inverted commas because as I look outside, it’s minus eleventy million degrees, there’s a thick dusting of snow on the ground and I’m wearing PJs + a jumper + a dessing gown.
Anyhow, ‘SPRING’. Yes. You want to shed the glitter and sequins and general DRAG QUEEN attire you became so fond of over Christmas and freshen up for the brand new year.
When money’s too tight to mention, there’s only one way of doing this – and that’s through the POWER OF MAKE-UP.
Treat yourself to a beauts new nail polish in a pretty pastel shade, or sweep on some candy coloured eyeshadow. Neither option will break the bank*, but will make you feel like a whole new you. Just make sure the shades you choose come from the ‘candy coloured French macaron spectrum’ and you’ll be kissing sweet (LIDERALLY)…
