Blondie’s new album (the first in three years) is out today, and we’ve had lead track I Want To Drag You Around on repeat.
It’s the Blondie we all know and love: Debbie Harry’s sexual, husky, somewhat slurred vocals over snazzy synths, gliding guitars and punchy percussion.
The band have released an accompanying lyric vid (so very 2014!) , created by J.H. Williams III, best known for his Batman stuff. He also designed the super cool new album artwork.
Blondie’s new album Ghosts Of Download is out today, Monday 12th May 2014 and tickets for their show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire go on sale on Friday. they’ll also be playing at Glasto.
