Here at Le Blow we are no stranger to sample sales. Having organised a few myself I often have Vietnam flashbacks of the Horrors I’ve Witnessed. I’ve seen men from accounts battle over a box of acrylic scarves and I’ve been elbowed in the face by someone desperate to get her hands on a polyester tie. Ask around a retail head office and I’m sure you’ll not only hear many other tales but you’ll hear of people’s ‘systems’ (that’s another story).
I think a lot of the feral behaviour I’ve witnessed was due to me being in charged of the operation. Thankfully the folk at ‘Secret Sample Sale’ possess the organisation skills I lack. This weekend they are filling The Truman Brewery with Clothing, accessories and jewellery from labels including Vivienne Westwood, Armani, See by Chloe, Dolce and Gabbana, Missoni and many more.
If you are a sample sale Virgin this is a great place to pop your cherry and mix with the pros who know what they are doing. Who knows I might be coaxed out from my foetal position under the table where I’m rocking with my eyes closed and fingers in my ears.
