London’s AW13 // Three fashion names to put on your radar right now

Now fashion month is over, the amount of AW fabulousness that needs to be absorbed right now is just TOO much.

We’re still working out if we can get away sans tights (following that vaguely sunny snap last week) AND we need to think about whether to invest in a dress coat come next season??

Without wanting to melt your brain we’ll start trickling some AW fashion nuggets into our feed so come September, you’ll be all over new puritan or over-the-knee boots or whatever tickles your fash fancy whilst still being striped, sheer and sparkling all through SS13.

In that effect, let’s look at three LFW names to remember for AW already…

Eilish Macintosh

Making fashion with old rope, Eilish’s collection earned rave reviews from Vogue, SHOWStudio and The Telegraph.

She showcased simple black dresses covered with rope cords. These were tied in controlled, restrictive and peek-a-boo ways. Sexy, provocative yet endearingly quirky.

Marques’Almeida

Ones to watch: Marques'Almeida AW13

If you’re a fan of deconstructed 90’s street style, Marques’Almeida is the go-to.

Ponyskin biker jackets, skater silhouettes, frayed silk and denim were a confidant step up from grunge simplicity. Infinitely wearable.

Ryan Lo

Ryan’s showed alongside the equally talented Claire Barrow and Ashley Williams for Fashion east.

Think Valley of the Dolls realism meets Barbie, via a rather large glass of Baby Cham. Pink, baby blue and candy floss suiting. Nylon socks, nude frosted negligees and trainers, natch.

Candyfloss grittiness for stylishly disillusioned fashion kids.

Got those names emblazoned across your brain? Good, we’ll be doing a test later.
