Sorry! Whenever I write about MAC makeup, I (somewhat predictably) ALWAYS get Mark Morrison’s Return of the Mack stuck in my head.
Anyway, this is just a quick post to sing the praises of MAC’s new seasonal makeup collection: Hey Sailor! We at Le Blow LOVE the following things:

- Excellent lipsticks

- Punny product names
- And sailors. What?
So you can imagine our delight when we clocked the new MAC makeup collection for spring/summer 2012: Hey Sailor! Following haute on the footsteps of their MAC Gourmet range, we’d buy if for the nifty nautical packaging alone – seriously MAC; you had us at hello (well, the sight of the retro girl in jaunty sea-faring hot pants and heels).
We’ve only tried one of the lippies so far (an orange-red shade called ‘Sail La Vie’ – hilaaaire) and what can we say? Gal overboard! This luscious lipstick is so highly pigmented it’s at once matte yet moisturisingly slick, too. And didn’t dry my lips out like a nun’s c… roissant in the process. Plumped up my pout a treat, too (yes, I’m wearing Breton Stripes ON PURPOSE):
We feel a major MAC haul coming on, as the MAC colour collection includes pro longwear lip pencils, zoom waterfast lash, lipglass and more.
