Since getting properly into yoga, I seem to be on an eternal quest for cool, whimsical workout wear. In my mind, that’s mystical motif T-shirts, galaxy-print leggings and mats with mantras on (hey, I was a MASSIVE Kula Shaker fan back in the 90s, what can I say?). I don’t want harem pants made from hemp that not only smell like shit but make you look like you’re taking one, too. And the ‘mystical’ balance has to be right; I don’t want to look like I’ve come direct from performing some sort of Druid ceremony at Stonehenge. Yougetme?
Seems Urban Outfitters, spiritual home of the hipsters, may have answered my prayer (pose)s. They launched Without Walls back in March, a collection of supremely cool workout wear for men and women.
It’s ‘athleisure’ at its finest – that is, dual purpose clothing that works as well for athletic pursuits, leisure time or both. Or, if you’re me, for slouching around on the sofa, or popping to the cornershop on a Sunday morning, as well as doing downward dog and getting your yin in harmony with your yang.
They (the brand) say:

We say: WHY ISN’T IT AVAILABLE IN THE UK?! Don’t stress [inhale, exhale, etc], you can order online from without walls.com in the meantime.
